Freddie MacGregor and Kymani Marley to perform at Haiti Benefit Concert, Thursday September 2nd
Please be advised that the West Indian American Day Carnival Association has been informed by the authorized representatives of Mr. Wyclef Jean that due to his current activities with respect to Haiti, he is unable to participate in WIADCA’s Benefit for Haiti.
WIADCA regrets this recent development, but wishes to assure patrons and the public that the Benefit for Haiti will still be staged with all the other advertised artists, David Rudder, Kevin Lyttle, Serani, Theophilus London, Lyndon Lyton, Pupa Leendi, Mental, Bruk Up, Bud Ramsey, Demi Dabady, Malene Young Lao, Super P, as well as, Freddie MacGregor and Kymani Marley who kindly agreed to perform at short notice.
WIADCA looks forward to seeing you all at the Benefit for Haiti on Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 at 7pm at the Brooklyn Museum.
